The project focuses on the implementation of educational standards of secondary (complete) general education in a foreign language and computer science. According to GEF teaching of foreign languages in school today includes a whole range of educational and developmental problems. Today, the foreign language teachering is targeted at developing students' foreign language communicative competence on the basis of universal educational activities. The concept of foreign language communicative competence includes items such as:

 • • • • speech competence

 linguistic / language competence

 • • socio-cultural / intercultural competence

 • • as well as compensatory competence and educational and cognitive competence.

Universal learning activities, in my opinion, relate to the key skills of the XXI century:

 • • • • critical thinking technology and information literacy skills

 • • Educational cooperation results are considered at several levels - metasubject, personal and substantive. In turn, the substantive results are identified in accordance with the main spheres of human activity: cognitive, value-orientation, labor, physical, aesthetic.

 Informatics:

 • • development of basic knowledge, reflecting the contribution of computer science in the formation of the modern scientific picture of the world, the role of information processes in society, biological and technical systems;

 • • mastering the ability to apply, analyze, convert information models of real objects and processes, using information and communication technologies (ICT), including the study of other school subjects; 

• • development of cognitive interests, intellectual and creative abilities through the development and use of methods of computer science and ICT tools in the study of different subjects;

 • • education of responsible attitude to ethical and legal standards of information activities;

 • • implementation of experience in the use of information technology in the individual and collective learning and cognition, including project activities. 

After the completion of the project, students will be able to:

 • • to use image processing software, creating presentations and publications to present the results of search and research activities; 

• • to express an opinion on the issue; 

• • argue their point of view;

 • • make plans written and oral communications; 

• • give examples to illustrate the problem under study;

 • • analyze, compare facts and draw conclusions;

 • • to process the information;

 • • use a speech vocabulary study on educational topics;

 • • collaborate with other students and parents to work productively in a team to solve the problem; 

• • find relevant information resources;

 • • apply creative ideas. 

Personal results. Students will be able to gain experience of collective relations: cooperation and assistance; increase interest in the development of modern technologies, expressing it through a conscious desire to learn. 

Metasubject results. These include:

 • • the ability to regulate its own activities aimed at knowledge of reality and possibilities of the human mind;

 • • the ability to perform information retrieval, to assess the degree of importance of the source; • • the ability to structure the information found;

 • • analyze the obtained information, draw conclusions on the basis of the aggregate of individual facts;

 • • awareness of the rules and norms of interaction with adults and peers; 

• • skills to use ICT tools to support intellectual activity of universal educational activities.

 Substantive results. These include:

 • • assimilation of the original data; 

• • Use a basic conceptual apparatus at a level that is understandable to middle schoolers,

 • • the ability to describe and characterize the facts and events in the study area.
